Meet Susan Kelly
Susan is a born fundraiser and an invaluable nonprofit strategist who brings an open mind and dynamic ideas to every project. With nearly 20 years of professional development experience, Susan combines her broad fundraising knowledge and practical smarts with optimism, energy and passion for the nonprofit sector. The result is a unique client + consultant partnership that has produced successful campaigns, increased annual giving and greater leadership engagement from dozens of nonprofits in the Washington, DC region and beyond.
Susan honed her consulting skills with leading nonprofit consulting firm, Orr Associates, Inc. (OAI, now the Orr Group). Prior to her consulting career, Susan was a successful frontline fundraiser for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and Richmond Animal League.
Personally, Susan is a displaced Texan now living in Arlington, Virginia with her husband and three children. She’s an active volunteer, donor, and advocate for her kids’ schools and local community.
